FRANCIS FAUX

Composer - Choral Director

Francis is a versatile and passionate musician who works primarily as a composer for media, video games and the concert hall.

He has over twenty years of experience as a choral director, vocal coach and pianist and his music has been performed both in the UK and internationally.

​Recently, his original setting of a North Indian folk song, Nautanki Ke Mele, was awarded 2nd place at the Tapiola Choir Choral Composition Competition and his Vidi Aquam received an honorary mention in the annual Japan International Choral Composition Competition.​


Francis is currently working with filmmaker Jevan Chowdhury on his 12 films in 12 months project as well as several commissions, including a new piece for Exeter Cathedral's Choral Outreach Programme. He is always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and share his brand of musical storytelling with others.
